Quest Academy

Our Mission: Quest Academy’s mission is to support all Cowlitz County students in achieving their highest educational and personal potential and to prepare them to contribute as successful citizens of a diverse, multi-cultural community.

Quest Academy, opened Fall, 2016, providing a supportive and highly therapeutic learning environment for students with varying degrees of cognition who need behavioral interventions and support. At the request of the Cowlitz County Districts, (Castle Rock, Kelso, Longview and the Woodland School Districts) ESD 112 moved forward to develop and operate the day treatment therapeutic school program.

Creating remarkable changes through patience, love, skill-building

We are thrilled to be able to provide this level of support for students in Cowlitz County. The setting and program model at the Quest Academy will help ensure greater success for these students.

Who We Serve

A program of Educational Service District 112, we provide supports to an exclusive Cowlitz County student population of kindergarten through twelfth-graders. Our students have varying degrees of cognition, yet all share a common need for behavioral interventions and supports within a therapeutic environment. We believe when schools and parents work as partners within a child’s educational plan, the likelihood of healthy outcomes greatly increases.

Our Goals

  • To help students achieve academic success
  • To help students gain the skills necessary to build strong interpersonal skills and healthy peer relationships
  • To transition students back into their neighborhood school where they can successfully access all aspects of a comprehensive school
