Contract awarding is the method used during a procurement in order to evaluate the proposals taking part and award the relevant contract. Usually at this stage the eligibility of the proposals has been concluded. So it remains to choose the most preferable among the proposed. There are several different methods for this, which are obviously related to the proposition method asked by the procurement management.
Contracts are the binding agreements that result following the ITB, RFP and RFQ process.
Check the related pages table under ITB, RFP, and RFQ for a complete listing of current ITB, RFP and RFQ's.
Purchasing Contracts with ESD 112
ESD 112 operates a purchasing program under which competitive bids and proposals are solicited on behalf of school districts and other educational organizations. This program increases the purchasing power of eligible purchasers, therefore facilitating very competitive pricing from awarded bidders.
Current Purchasing Contracts
The DigitalEdge Purchasing Program at Education Service District (ESD 112) provide competitively bid contracts on educational technology solutions, wireless mobile devices, audio-visual solutions, high-tech products and school safety solutions that are available to "eligible purchaser's" in twelve western states including K-12 public and private schools, colleges and universities, regional service agencies, and state departments of education. "Eligible purchaser's" should complete an purchasing interlocal agreement as outlined on this website, if their governing laws require the purchaser to have an interlocal agreement. In addition, state laws authorize "piggybacking" off a bid that was competitively procured by another public agency in accordance with that agency's bid laws. For additional information check the DigitalEdge website regarding the DigitalEdge contracts, all master product price lists, and purchasing information.
