CSG was born out of requests by school districts for assistance in managing capital projects. These requests often came from smaller districts that built infrequently and had little or no qualified staff to oversee capital programs.
CSG began providing construction-related services to school districts in 1994. Since then, we have managed construction of over 7,000,000 square feet of school buildings. Our client districts have ranged in size from under 100 students to over 50,000 students. Today, CSG provides services to districts of all sizes. CSG has been able to provide assistance to those districts with trusted, qualified professionals at a reasonable cost.
With a growing staff of 30+ professionals with backgrounds in project and construction management, architecture, engineering, capital budget management and accounting, CSG supports school districts with services beginning from the pre-bond period through the occupancy of the completed project.
CSG has never received either state or local funding and is an entirely self-sustaining non-profit organization funded by our work with local school districts. Each of our team members is entirely mission-driven and our success is shared back to the ESD Network in support of educational programs from public nursing, early childhood learning, to audiology programs.
